However, said lunch was spoiled due to the action of a crew.
Reason? I had brought my "baon" which I plan to eat at the said food shop but will order an add on for the said matter.
When I got inside with another friend, the crew said to me "Ma'am bawal po ang may baon dito".
I answered back. "Mag oorder naman ako eh."
He retaliated: "Kahit na po. Bawal po talaga."
I answered again, "so what do you want me to do with my food?"
He repeated, "Bawal po kasi."
I did not answer back as the conversation is going nowhere. I decided to walk out. Leaving the rest of my 8 friends there.
When my friends got back to the office from the said food hub, they said that they have spoken to the supervisor about the issue.
As per the supervisor: "Bawal talaga daw ang magdala ng pagkain ng labas at may memo daw sila."
My friends answered back: "If bawal, nasaan ang signboard ninyo?"
The supervisor said bago lang po kayo ano? and pointed to a cardboard sign beside the menu on the side of the cashiers station which is faced down.
My friends answered back: ganyan pala eh, bakit di naka paskil sa lahat ng lamesa ninyo na bawal para lahat ng papasok dito at may dalang baon ay di na tutuloy?
My friends asked for the crew's name and supervisor's name as well as the main office telephone number and said we will complaint with DTI.
WALANG KWENTANG CUSTOMER SERVICE DAHIL LANG SA MAY BAON ANG TAONG KAKAIN SA LUGAR NILA DI NA NILA PAPAYAGANG UMORDER AT KUMAIN KASABAY ANG MGA KASAMA O KAIBIGAN.
THE CREW SHOULD HAVE ASKED FIRST THE SUPERVISOR IF I CAN BE ALLOWED SINCE WE ARE A GROUP (9 TO BE EXACT) AND I AM THE ONLY 1 WHO HAS "BAON" AND NOT ALONE TO EAT.
I CAN BUY ANY FOOD THAT THEY CAN SERVE BUT THE FACT THAT I HAVE "BAON" SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDED OF CONSIDERATION.
LACK OF INFORMATION ABOUT BRINGING INSIDE FOOD WHICH ARE NOT THEIR OWN IS RESTRICTED.
THEY SHOULD EVEN IF WE ARE REGULAR CUSTOMERS OR NOT, PASTE ON EVERY WALL OF THEIR PREMISES AND EVERY TABLES THAT "BRINGING OF OUTSIDE FOOD IS A NO GO."
THIS WILL NOT REST AS WE ARE GOING TO PURSUE THIS COMPLAINT TO DTI AND TO THE MANAGEMENT OF SM MALL OF ASIA.
